California Proposition 65

What is Proposition 65?

Proposition 65 requires the State of California to maintain and update a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Businesses may be required to provide a clear and reasonable warning when a product can expose a California consumer to one or more listed chemicals.

Our Product Safety Commitment

• Cameo Line is committed to providing quality promotional products that meet applicable federal safety and warning requirements.
• Our product safety efforts include working with our supply chain and using testing programs where applicable.
• Because Proposition 65 covers a very broad and frequently updated list of chemicals, it is not practical to test every piece of every order for every listed chemical.
• If a product may ship to California and you have Prop 65 compliance concerns, we recommend requesting a Prop 65 warning label.

Prop 65 Warning Labels

Upon request, Cameo Line can include a Proposition 65 warning label on products that may ship to the State of California.

Customer Responsibility

• Please advise Cameo Line at the time of order placement if any products may be shipped, distributed, or resold in California.
• If a Prop 65 warning label is required, the request should be clearly stated on the purchase order.
• Cameo Line is not responsible for failure to include a Prop 65 warning when the requirement was not communicated at the time the order was placed.
